What is the Victims' Fund?

The Victims’ Fund is a non-profit organization founded by The Accident Guys, a legal firm specializing in personal injury cases.

When low-income Californian motorists are involved in an automobile accident where the other party is both at-fault and uninsured or underinsured, The Victims’ Fund assists with the payment of bills associated with the accident, including medical bills, coverage of lost income, and funeral costs.

Low-income motorists involved in an accident caused by another party can apply for assistance online by clicking the “Apply” button and filling out the displayed form on thier website.

Car Accident Tips

To qualify for assistance with the Victims’ Fund, the motorist must not be at fault. After the accident, the motorist’s actions are as important as – if not more so than – their actions before and during the accident. The motorist must not leave the accident scene; fleeing the accident scene can result in hit-and-run charges, fines, jail time, and revocation of the driver’s license.

The motorist should collect information from the other parties involved and from eyewitnesses. Information collected should include names, contact details, driver’s license numbers, license plate numbers, auto insurance information, eyewitness accounts, and supplementary evidence. California residents are often required to file accident reports within ten days of the accident.

Under no circumstances should the motorist admit to fault; even when the motorist is not legally liable, an admission of fault can significantly complicate the motorist’s financial and legal options.
